Compensation Fund

The Financial Commission offers additional protection for traders through the Compensation Fund.

How does it work?

The Compensation Fund serves as an insurance policy for its members' clients. It will be used if a member refuses to comply with the verdict given by The Financial Commission.

How is the Compensation Fund financed?

The Compensation Fund is financed by allocating 10% of the monthly membership dues from participating brokers.

Who is covered?

The fund will be utilised following the issuance of judgement by The Financial Commission. It does not apply to losses incurred by the client who made trading decisions solely at its discretion.

What is the maximum coverage?

The Compensation Fund covers judgements made by the Financial Commission up to €20,000 per client.
